The top coat is the vital final step in any professional manicure, formulated to seal in color, provide a high-gloss finish, and deliver long-lasting protection against wear and chipping.
How to Use (Application Instructions):
For a brilliant, chip-resistant finish, follow these application steps precisely:
Ensure Color is Set: Make sure the final coat of color polish (lacquer or gel) is fully applied and properly dried or cured.
Apply a Moderate Layer: Apply a layer of the Top Coat. This layer can be slightly thicker than the base or color coats, as it needs to build a durable protective shield.
Cap the Free Edge: Seal the longevity of the manicure by lightly running the brush across the tip (free edge) of the nail. This is essential for preventing shrinkage and chipping at the end of the nail.
Dry or Cure: For Traditional Polish: Allow the Top Coat to air-dry completely for maximum hardness (this may take 5–10 minutes, or longer for traditional formulas). For Gel Systems: Cure under a UV/LED lamp according to the manufacturer's directions (typically 60–120 seconds). Some gel top coats require wiping with a cleanser (an alcohol solution) after curing to remove the sticky inhibition layer, while others are "No-Wipe."
Finish: If using a wipe-off gel top coat, gently cleanse the nail surface with a lint-free wipe saturated with cleanser to reveal the final high shine.
Key Benefits:
Maximum Durability: Forms an extremely hard, protective barrier that seals and shields the color coat from scratching, dulling, and chipping.
Brilliant Finish: Delivers a mirror-like, high-gloss shine that enhances the depth and vibrancy of the color underneath.
Color Protection: Shields polish pigments from UV exposure, preventing fading and yellowing over the life of the manicure.
Extended Wear: Significantly maximizes the overall longevity of the manicure, promoting chip-resistant manicures.
Warnings and Safety Precautions:
Please adhere to professional safety standards to prevent irritation:
Avoid Skin Contact: Do not allow the product to touch the skin or cuticles. If contact occurs, wipe it away thoroughly before curing or drying. Repeated skin contact, particularly with gel products, may cause sensitization.
Ventilation: Use this product in a well-ventilated area.
System Match: Always use the top coat designed for your specific system (e.g., a gel top coat must be used over a cured gel color).
Discontinue Use: If irritation, redness, or swelling occurs, remove the product immediately and seek medical advice.
